About Us
Shadō Lighting is an architectural lighting design practice based in Sydney. Our design strategies aim to merge innovation with the art of illumination. Drawing inspiration from the captivating interplay of light and shadow, we believe that lighting is more than a necessity; it is a transformative element that enriches spaces, cultivating emotional and memorable experiences.
Led by founder Kristian, Shado Lighting brings over 16 years of expertise in electrical and lighting installations. With qualifications from the University of Sydney’s Illumination Design Program, Kristian brings a unique expertise in translating creative visions into practical implementation.
Our Process
Our design services specialise in crafting creative solutions for the residential, hospitality, retail, and commercial sectors. We collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, clients, and electrical contractors to ensure a clear understanding of the project scope and effective execution.
Our process begins with detailed briefings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements. We then develop a design concept to illustrate our approach to lighting design, followed by detailed, construction-ready plans and specifications.
Finally, we provide construction coordination to ensure our designs are executed seamlessly ready for handover.
